Every Friday we do Gymnastic with Flamino from Sport Auckland team and We are learning how to do balancing using different Balancing Activities

We are learning to write a story

Ms Parkes came to Room 1 to show us how to write good stories.

ART DAY in room 1

 On ART day we use our topic theme to integrate with our Art work which is BIRDS.

We are learning to use cutting and pasting strategy for making a bird.  
We use Mosaic with feathers.

We enjoy learning to swim.

 Twice a week our class goes swimming in the school pool. We are learning to enter and exit the pool safely. 

We are learning our alphabet letters.

We are using our whiteboards to practise our alphabet letters. 

We love reading!

Mrs Collins gave us some new books. We took our books home to read with our family. Our class loves reading! 

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL 2016

Welcome back everyone. We have a busy 2016 ahead of us in Room 1. I am Mrs Ana Manu and I will be the New Entrants teacher this year. The teacher Aide Miss Maude will be on board with me in the classroom as well. Our children started the year off with a blast by jumping on the bouncy castle. We also had the privilege of having our new playground opened by principal, Mr Hendricks. There are trips, fun things, culture items and lots of sporting events coming up in Term One alone. Let's hope you can join us and we look forward to meeting you.
